I watched the PowerShot S5 IS from Canon. It is a very capable device. Take pictures quickly enough to meet the requirements of the measure. This need is an 8-megapixel camera is more than most people would. The requirement that fits into any wallet is a little doubtful with this camera, but most fit into a handbag is not worth a damn anyway action scenes. You are too slow to the picture that everything is recorded in motion. Unless, of course, reduce the size and resolution, as not a good photo printer. The S5 IS is to avoid this problem for a very reasonable price for the camera you get, too.
