Y isn't it checking my speling? - skip office 2003 activation

I have Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007th It's 2 new me, because my school in 2003 used. I write a text for the school, but my spell checker does not work. I wrote "asfhlkwehfalwf" not highlighted in red. I went into the settings page a few times, and I made sure that will look for spelling errors will. But every time a spell check, click, I get a pop-up window that says:
"The spelling and grammar is complete.
Text, with "Do not Check spelling and grammar was skipped." "
What does this mean? To How do I mark the text?
